GROUP EXERCISE CLASS DESCRIPTIONS

Cycle & Toning
A 45-minute cycle interval class that includes weights for muscle toning! Must sign up.
A Cycle HIIT class is a workout on a cycle bike that intersperses short bursts of intense exercise at an effort level close to maximum, with short periods of recovery. When HIIT intervals are applied to a cycle bike, we challenge our heart rate in ways that take our cardiovascular training to the next level. From sprints, to heavy climbs, to power climbs, prepare to sweat in just a 30-minute ride set to upbeat and motivating music.
Cycle Power is the direct result of force (resistance) and cadence (speed). To improve fitness and overall performance goals on the bike, classes will include an emphasis on strength, speed and stamina. Participants will be able to measure their own individual workload and strive to increase sustained efforts over time. Cycle Power takes the guesswork out of fitness levels and the ability to see changes in performance from ride to ride over the long term.
Active Reverse Aging
You can slow down the aging process by incorporating physical activity in your daily life! Renew your energy and join us for an hour where you will “rock” to tunes, improve your muscular strength, endurance, flexibility, balance and overall, well-being. Free weights will be used, and chairs will be available during class. Come join the FUN!
This energetic program is inspired by martial arts and draws from a wide array of disciplines such as karate, boxing, taekwondo, tai chi and Muay Thai Supported by driving music and powerful role model instructors, you strike, you punch, kick and kata your way through calories to superior fitness. This class is designed to tone and shape, increase strength and endurance, and builds self-confidence.
LES MILLS™ -- BodyAttack
BODYATTACK™ is a high-energy fitness class with moves that cater for total beginners to total addicts. We combine athletic movements like running, lunging and jumping with strength exercises such as push-ups and squats. Your instructor will play energizing tunes and lead you through the workout – challenging your limits in a good way, burning up to 555 calories and leaving you with a sense of achievement.

“Your Legs Will Love It, Eventually” – LES MILLS™
This fast-paced, explosive step workout that will leave you upbeat and ready for more. Cardio blocks push fat-burning systems into high gear followed by muscle conditioning tracks that shape and tone your body. Step improves heart and lung fitness, agility, and coordination, and increases strength and endurance. Too uncoordinated? It usually takes a few classes before you start to feel “in flow” on the step but don’t give up! You can change the intensity of the workout by changing the height of your step.

Barbell weight class that builds strength, tones your body and pushes you to the limit every time. This workout challenges all your major muscle groups by using the best weight – room exercises like squats, presses, lifts and curls. Great music, awesome instructors and your choice of weight inspire you to get the results you came for – and fast! Pump increases strength and endurance, tones and shapes, and helps maintain bone health.

Extreme HIIT Chaos
Extreme HIIT Chaos is an easy to follow systematic High Intensity Interval methodology offering progressive levels of muscle challenging controlled chaos and carrying ratios of high intensity work followed by periods of rest. Participants will self select what is right for them by challenging the muscles differently in every workout for faster results. When you train in chaos, you are ready for anything. This is an easy-to-follow, full body workout.
Shred & Tone
Challenging the smaller muscles constantly in different ways & angles in order to prevent any stubborn plateaus. Exercises using small hand & ankle weights along with heart pumping dance style cardio.
A 45 minute class focusing in on elements of functional fitness; cardio vascular heath, strength, mobility, flexility, breath-work, and balance. All work is done standing or with the use of the wall. Props include light weight and resistance bands. Cardio work is done with bodyweight in circuit form.
Dance your way to a fitter you using unique Latin moves and rhythms. Modifications given.

PILATES / BARRE
A non-impact, total mind-body workout that combines light weights, intense lower body work at the barre and an abdominal sequence. The exercises are balanced by deep, active stretches to create the long lean muscles dancers have!
Join us for a total body barefoot sculpting class. You will roll out your mat and utilize props such as bands, weights, magic circle and more all set to an upbeat playlist. Come sculpt, lengthen and flow in this low impact fusion class. All levels welcome!
Intensive Pilates choreography that builds from core basics. Knowledge of basic Pilates required.
Members will challenge their core and work on dynamic stability in this multipurpose mat class. Participants will use a variety of props and choreography, including Pilates, barre, and functional strengthening exercises to find their best movement potential.
Total Body Fusion
Just add water and shake. Splash your way into shape with the invigorating low-impact pool party. Get wet, get down and get fit.
Aerobics in the pool. Non-swimmers are welcome. Includes toning exercises.

Align & Flow
A yoga class designed to help you deeply focus your awareness. Through paying attention to details such as alignment and breath as you move through your practice.
All Levels Yoga
A gentle form of exercise that seeks to unite mind, body and spirit. The focus is on long stretches in various yoga postures, combined with slow, deep breathing. Energize your body, improve flexibility and reduce back pain.
This is an entry level class which is great for a true beginner or someone who hasn’t taken a class in a while.
This class is designed for members with limit abilities of holding regular poses, getting down & up off the floor.
Energize & Align
Energy Flow is a class designed to create fluid movement with a concentration on energy flow coordinated with the breath. Breathing techniques are used to engage the practitioner with their life force (the breath). Flowing through different sequences with a concentration on different joints and relating parts of the body. All classes end with a guided meditation that focuses on a centering thought and awareness.
Slow things down a bit and gradually work your way into the postures. Transitions are kept simple and modifications are given to help you adapt the practice to your unique body. Suitable for all levels.
Level 2 Yoga
One must have some yoga experience and be ready to attempt inversions.
A vigorous and flowing style of yoga in which the breath is used to move from one pose to another, concentrating on strength and flexibility.
Power Vinyasa is a general term used to describe a vigorous, fitness-based approach to vinyasa-style yoga. Power Vinyasa incorporates the athleticism of Ashtanga, including lots of vinyasas (series of poses done in sequence), but gives each teacher the flexibility to teach any poses in any order. In this class, foundational yoga postures are practiced to align, strengthen, and promote flexibility in the body. Breathing techniques and meditation are also integrated. You can expect an emphasis on simplicity, repetition, and ease of movement.
Restorative yoga class is a sequence of only 5 or 6 poses supported by props, held for 5-10 minutes each. These poses allow the person to fully relax and restore. The poses include childs pose, gentle twists, seated forward folds and gentle backbends. Light music, chanting, mantras, and meditation are used to inspire even more friendly and relaxed environment
Rise and Shine Yoga
Start your day with a burst of energy and joy in this class designed for all levels of yoga practitioners. Includes breath work, deep stretching and traditional yoga poses to strengthen and cleanse the mind and body.
Space and Stability
This class is designed for all levels and is appropriate for practicing either on a yoga mat or chair. Practice focus is on awareness and alignment, to improve balance and stability, and on opening spaces which feel tight due to emotional and or physical factors. All stretches and poses can be modified to suit any level of practice.
Yoga Sculpt is an all-levels class that incorporates 2 lb. hand weights to increase the opportunity for toning, muscular demand, and effort. The hand weights add a new challenge to traditional yoga classes. Yoga Sculpt also guarantees to get your blood flowing through your muscles in a way that leaves you feeling leaner and stronger.
